Would you make him go??
So my 3 yr old son is so attached to me! I love it most of the time but there’s times that I just need a break. I can count on 3 fingers the amount of times I have been away from him.
I have 2 sisters that are really close to my son, they are literally his second mom. He actually prefers them over me but only in a setting where I am there as well. When I ask him if he wants to go to their house he says only if I’m gonna be there, but the thing is I NEED A BREAK! I hate the thought of making him go somewhere he’s saying he don’t wanna go BUT I know it’s only because I’m not there it’s not because anything else is going on.
Would you make your child go to your sisters house who you and your child are 100% comfortable with if you just needed a break??

Are they your only child? I know with my 3yo we have had him go with his sister but they would sleep over for the weekends. If it's for during the day, they'll get over it quickly after they arrive there. So definitely give it a try!

I wouldn't even ask him. I would just explain to him, we're going to aunts house and mommy is going to leave for a little while but you're going to have so much fun and then I'll come back etc etc.
