3 year old wants a new mummy and daddy
My 3 year old keeps telling us she wants her uncle and aunty (who have their own 2 girls) to be her mum. When we ask her why, she provides no reason. Has anyone else encountered this because it makes us feel really shitty - we are hands on parents and provide loads of quality time/activities/days out. The parents she wants provide junk food whenever their kids want it and TV on tap. I'm hoping thats all it is but she won't say and it's really hurting our big feelings lol

She doesn't spend that much time with them but when she does, she just sees her cousins getting whatever they want!
Maybe she wants siblings? x

I think my 3rd year old would rather our family. He gets his own way, TV and junk food. That's exactly why he wants them, we provide healthy food, not allow TV that much and we don't let him have his own way all the time! I honestly wouldn't feel too bad! When she gets older she'll understand better. Does she spend alot of time with her uncle & aunty? X
