I had my son 4 years ago my periods are still very irregular. Cycles are long some are short I had a 10 day periods last cycle and a 9 day period this cycle that I just finished . Pregnancy isn't a cure for a hormonal imbalance such as PCOS
I started the patch birth control because i’m scared to get pregnant again and that made my period the most regular it’s been, even with different types of birth control. I also got a cyst big enough to stop my period (currently 137 days late) and I never had that before pregnancy. Not trying to scare you, just saying some things are different for each person after pregnancy. My mom said she had more regular periods and my friend said hers were more irregular.
I used to have mine anywhere from a couple of months up to 6 months apart. I had an ectopic pregnancy in 2016 and it starter to become more regular. The last couple years before I had my daughter last fall it was about every 45 days on average, so still longer than normal but I at least had a pretty good idea when it was coming.
My mum had PCOS and after she had me, I was her first child, her periods went to a regular 28 day cycle, Before she had a period every 2-3 months. I also have PCOS but haven't noticed a difference in my periods after having children.
Nope sorry to say. Had mine regularly monthly and they was horrible ones too. Had baby end of Feb and still no period yet 😢
Thanks everyone - don't be worried about giving me negative responses or scaring me, I'd rather be realistic and manage my expectations! I thought it was too good to be true haha. My periods were roughly 6 monthly and very very painful. planning to avoid hormonal birth control and stick to condoms and see what my body says. the fact it decided it was healthy enough to sustain life is a miracle in my books
After I had my son in 2021 my periods have been regular where as before them they were extremely irregular.
Update I had my period last week and it was 6 days long and really really heavy. Was not nice at all and was rather scary too. But got through it xx
No pregnancy don't fix ur period
