@Jae🌝 Unfortunately no but I actually went to my local mosque and spoke to the Imam - he found someone in the community who is willing to help, but thank you for your suggestion x
The sunnah says on the 7th day or 21st day, I couldn’t shave my son’s head at the 7th day so I have waited until the 21st day however I didn’t let my husband or any of the family to shave him because I was scared. I have asked my neighbour as he is a barber and he shaved his head with the proper equipment and he sterilised everything. I would suggest you to get someone with experience as babies move and their skin is very delicate.
@Rania Thanks Rania, yes I found someone recommended by the imam in my local mosque. After shaving his hair I’m told I have to weigh it and whatever it is weighed I give the equivalent to charity. Where did you weigh yours and how did you donate ?
Alot of the asian barbers, for example im the tooting, mitcham area shave new born babies head. Had my little ones head shaved
@Omoezi you can weigh it on a tissue paper on food scale. Its only an approximation.
@Sana oh ok great to know, did you weigh it? Did you donate to charity?
You can weigh it in a tissue on a food scale should be few grams, equate that same weight to the value of silver. You choose the charity maybe a family in need in your area or an organisation that helps the poor.
@Sana okay thank you
@Rania thank you Rania, I ll do that 🙏🏾
Could you get your parents mama or dad, uncle or grandparent to do it?
