Father’s Day 🫣

I’m 36 weeks tomorrow, we have a toddler. I’ve been super sick this pregnancy TBH- haven’t thought a thing about Father’s Day. I can barely do much without getting in pain and my husband is totally brushing it off but what are you super pregnant second, third, etc mamas doing? I know yall first time mamas are making this special because it’s the first but for the rest of us- curious how bad a wife I am

If you have crayons and construction paper then you’re golden. Have toddler decorate a card and then ask what they love about daddy. Answers are usually hilarious. My husband loves his cards. I then try to make a special breakfast with the kids - tomorrow is waffles as requested. Be kind to yourself!

What did he do for Mother's Day? Energy match ✨️

@Lauren exactly 💯

Since his baby ain't here yet I'm doing nothing ... he wished me a happy mother's day because I already have a 9 year old so I was already a mother before this pregnancy but he didn't do anything so I'm doing what @Lauren said

@Lauren although I like this I’m so so pregnant and in pain easily ha like normally yes yes but tbh- I couldn’t handle my toddler all day by myself like he did and he did make me breakfast in bed we also hosted. I should figure out something for breakfast at least and she made sweet stuff for him at daycare. I feel so guilty! But I’m struggling

Sounds like acts of service will do the trick. If you're as exhausted as I am... you may be using more words of affirmation to make him feel special. 😅 If you want quick gift ideas: A good go-to is lottery tickets and saying something about being lucky to have him. Donuts in the morning are a good one. Kroger and Walmart have free grocery pickup and may have some father's day ideas.

@Lauren lol thank you! Yes I agree may be more affirmations but good ideas thank you all for making me feel a bit better
