Testing negative after surgery and medication
I’ve had a surgery for a missed miscarriage 6 weeks ago and then medical management last week for retained products.
I’m getting conflicting information from the hospital about when to take a test to check it’s negative. How soon will a test show up negative?

I’m sorry to hear you needed both. I had a natural miscarriage this week and surgery in March and both times the hospital said test after 3 weeks. For my first miscarriage it took just over 4 weeks to test negative.
The DR has advised me to test after 3 weeks and call back if it's not negative. X
I tested negative after a week. But I was instructed to wait two weeks so I took it a again 1 week later just to be sure. So no harm testing after one week.
