Yes that’s fine just wondering if you get notified though as if you just wait for it and then don’t get it. Do you know how long it usually takes to process? Thanks
Took about 4 weeks in my case to get a reply from them. Then they ask you to send back a letter when you go on leave but I’ve called instead as wasn’t sure what dates to put and they did it with me through the phone, had first payment about a week later x

My baby arrived early, so I applied for it after she was here. I think it took not even two weeks to get accepted and then about 3 weeks before a payment.
I received a text to say they'd received my forms and then about 3-4 weeks later I received a letter telling me I was eligible and how much I'd get a week. There's a form I have to send back to them when I go on leave but that's literally my due date 🙃

@Loveth have you contacted them? How many weeks are you if you dont mind me asking. I think I’ve left it to the last minute but was waiting for work to issue me the smp1 form. I’m 32 weeks but sent the forms recorded so hopefully all will be ok 🤞🏽x
I’m at the other end of maternity allowance, just received my last payment. I never even received confirmation of any type from them, the first time I knew I’d been excepted was money going into my account which was the first payment No communication from them at all, even now
@Collette am 35 weeks now and i haven’t contacted them yet but i will by Monday,hopefully it will come out am depending on it

You should get a letter or text to confirm youre eligible but it's not paid until maternity leave, just like smp
