@Amy I get you ! Luckily I have a social job but still work part time! I miss those friends you can do sod all with and just hang out.
Exactly, I had a lovely group like that when I lived down south but haven’t met anyone up here at all in the couple of years I’ve been here and it’s ever so lonely
Yeah same here, we would basically raise our kids together. I think it's hard making friends you can relax around when everyone our age is always in mum mode haha
I also realise my profile didn’t reflect any of that - I divorced 18 months ago
Oh I'm still not technically divorced but I will be hahah
Mines only been finalised for a couple of weeks - what a tedious process that is! Hope it’s going smoothly for you 🤞🏻 the hoops we have to jump through!
It’s definitely difficult finding like minded people. What I’d give for a girly night with wine and pizza while the kids play. Feels like an age ago now
I’m not a single mam, but I know the feeling! I need more mam friends🤣x
Would definitely love some mum friends - single or otherwise at this point 😅
@Amy swap the wine for gin and I’m in🥳😂
Sounds like a plan to me @Zoe - would definitely be up for setting something up
Haha being single isn't a necessity mum friends are mum friends regardless lol I'm for wine or gin or both haha
Both is even better 🎉
I could do with a wine now tbh my youngest just isn't winding down lol but I wanna keep her up until 9 so I get a lie in tomorrow hahah

@Amy sounds good to me!!x
Just noticed this thread and I’m all for jumping on the bandwagon! If anything is planned count me in! ❤️
This!! It’s so incredibly lonely. I also work from home and have virtually no interaction with another adult for days at a time. Tried various hobbies in an evening but end up just going to bed most of the time.
