The evening before is such a strange feeling! Excitement, nerves and a realisation that you’ll meet your baby the following day. I am very grateful my section was a great positive experience and couldn’t have asked for anything more. In my experience, the nerves and waiting around was worse than the section itself, and as soon as your baby is out, you forget all about it. Such an amazing feeling 🥰. I hope it goes well for you, I’m sure it will! You’ve got this. 💪🏼
Loved my c-section and it was an emergency too! So much more chilled than I imagined and it went by so quickly, I would absolutely have another. How exciting that you'll meet your baby soon 💞
I had an emergency c section and I would honestly opt for an elective next time 😊 the staff were super calm and caring, and baby was out in 10mins! Didn’t feel any pain whatsoever and even the rumbling around in your tummy isn’t a bad feeling/sensation either. The staff are really good at making sure you can feel nothing before it starts. Plus I had full feelings back again after a couple of hours in recovery 🙂 (I had the epidural). You’ll be absolutely fine! Enjoy all the precious moments you have to come! 😊

How exciting you get to meet your baby tomorrow ☺️ my c section was honestly such a lovely experience (as scared as I was before hand) the staff were amazing and so re assuring. It’s the most surreal yet amazing experience ever. I went into theatre at about 9:30 and by 10:10 I heard my baby’s first cry!! You’ve got this 😊 good luck with everything xx
