I have a few friends that work for Angi and they're SO totally okay with kids in the back. They understand family comes first and I've heard nothing but good things about them tbh. I have one who works sales which she does seem more stressed about the numbers but the other works customer service and loves it.
I work from home in insurance but I do have help with the kids while I’m in the office making calls and doing zoom calls.. if my kids end up popping in usually it helps lighten the mood with my clients but I try to keep them out.. I did have to sit for a test to get my license though
@Angel that I don't know. You can definitely search copy/ edit positions on the usual job boards. When I was looking for remote work, I updated my resume and posted it. I was contacted by a few head hunters and chose the best option for my family. Lots of this work is also offered as freelance, which is great.
Depending on what state you live in prices vary for the actual license ($30 for mine) and the test was like $35.. but I did take up the offer from the company I’m with for a discount on the practice exam course to make sure I was ready to sit for the state exam! I think that was like $110.. BUT it helped me pass the exam at 90% (only 70% needed to pass) && YOU DO NOT have to stay with the company! You just can’t try to take their members when you leave (2 yrs) lol

I’d love a WFH job. But I feel like no one talks about pay transparency. Every job I looked at on LinkedIn pay ranges $20-24. Which personally to me is not enough in today’s economy. I would be taking a huge pay cut from my career. This would be ok if I was younger, no big payments in life & child free. Which is not the case. I also see a lot of commission jobs which give me anxiety because you never know what your income will be. I’d love to stay at home with my son it’s just not in the cards for me. :(
Hello, I work from home. I started my own work from home business a couple of months ago. A lot of SAHM’s also do this business. If anyone is interested let me know and I can send more information.

Piggybacking on Insurance and Data Entry! I’m an accountant and the job security, benefits, and pay are good and don’t require much specialization to get into.

I work with a company called mission driven moms. They are a group of stay at home moms. This group saved my life. I lost my job back in December when I was 6 months pregnant. I get to do everything at home and still spend time with my little one. https://missiondrivenmoms.com/KatharineRand
See what classes your local community college has . Sometimes they pay for you to attend depending on income.
Have you tried data entry positions or chat positions? That way, you aren't on the phone. Honestly, most legit remote employers will require childcare. I work remotely, and thankfully, I'm not on the phone and never work while my kids are awake. I do have mandatory Zoom meetings every quarter, but I make sure my hubby is available to watch the kids. I edit/copy and translate for an international publishing company. I pick my assignment and work on it when I have time. I'm paid biweekly and it has been one of the best decisions I have made since becoming a mom. I love still being 100% available for my kids while maintaining a household as well as making an income. Truly the best of both worlds.
