I thought about it but I never actually got round to it. I’d be a little wary of anyone telling you that you “should” be doing it - it’s certainly not a necessity. I know some people swear by it but anytime I’ve tried it in the past it’s done nothing of note for me. Maybe you need to believe in it. 🤷♀️ I think a lot of people find it relaxing, however, and relaxation is always good because IVF is a pretty stressful process and anything you can do to chill yourself out is a bonus.
I did it on my last FET cycle, I personally don't rate it. It was unsuccessful and didn't relax me at all, it made feel annoyed at how much it cost and was a waste. Some people benefit from it though.
I tried acupuncture prior to an egg collection and whilst I found it lovely and relaxing but I didn’t feel it would be crucial to my collection. I think stress in general can be cut back by lowering your work load and cancel plans. Live a wholesome and quiet life during the process 🙏🏼
I did it for fresh and frozen transfers. It’s relaxing and for that part I will say it’s helpful but I wouldn’t say you ‘should’ have acupuncture as part of your treatment. There are so many other factors involved in IVF.
I swear by it. It’s recommended but it’s totally up to you. Find one that specialises in fertility - that’s very important. I had it as you described above. It’s one of those situations where did it/didn’t it help - I frooze 7 5 day blasts and had a successful fresh transfer. I continued until I was 3 months pregnant I actually claimed all my sessions back via my private health insurance (just don’t them it’s for ivf!!!) I liked the routine, I liked talking to the lady and she was positive and made me feel good. I took control and added structure to my cycle. It’s a personal choice but I felt it benefited me
Hi I’ve done acupuncture both of my transfer- i did weekly from start of ivf and then day before transfer and day after transfer then stopped. It help with relaxation and stress relief aswel helping with lining thickness. Some people continue with it till 3month of pregnancy.
