Overdue 😫

Are you trying to rest, and keep that oxytocin up? Go for a nice walk, eat your favourite foods. Relax, do some nice things. Have a massage, spend some quality time with your partner. The higher your oxytocin the more likely you are to go into labour naturally which is best- unless baby is in actual danger. xx

Third pregnancy and 40 + 5 days today and know how you feel. Everyone involved in my care kept saying baby would be lucky to get to 37 weeks. I had my mucus plug come out yesterday and then nothing aside from a little bit of cramping 🥴 I have a midwife appointment later today and it will be to book in an induction. I’m hoping that little man decides to get out before then. Sending you lots of positive vibes x

I'm 40+6 too. I'm not feeling to fed up just yet lol. Im trying to do something nice each day. I. Hoping bubba does come soon. I've got the midwife later today. I've not booked an induction yet as I'm hoping baby will come soon fingers crossed xxx

I gave birth at 40 + 5 with absolutely no labour signs at all until one evening my waters broke. Don't be disheartened. It's going to be any time now.

Same 😭 I’m 40+5 and I asked for a sweep at my appointment yesterday, but my cervix is still fully closed, so no joy there. I was convinced I’d had tightenings and back pains, and all the little things that might indicate that things might be moving along, but nothing. I’m going to have another sweep in a few days and then I’m going to get induction booked in. I’m just in so much pain and miserable, I need an end date in sight!
