Am I Pregnant????

In my personal experience if the line isn’t in the middle it’s negative. Looks like an evap line to me x maybe try with pink dye x I’m sure them ones are better

@Nicola what is an evap line and I’ve done lots of tests over the few months and I’ve never even got a faint line so that’s why this is a shock to me. Do you definitely think it’s not a positive test?

Did the second line appear within the timescale in the instructions? Clear blue are notorious for evaporation lines which appear after the window in which you should read the tests results.

This isn’t a solid thick line like it’s supposed to be so unfortunately may not be a true positive.

@Sarah I did look up evap lines just then and it says it would have no colour and wouldn’t be a solid line so I’m really confused. Other people have had the exact same looking result as me and ended up being pregnant it’s all so confusing.

I think if it showed after the timescale then it’s probably negative - but you’re not out until you get your period 😊 I’d retest again in a couple of days with a pink dye test as they’re much more reliable x

If it showed later, it’s definitely negative. I had this exact same thing with 5 clear blue tests last cycle. I would avoid using them but if you do, do not look at them after 10 mins of doing them :(

@Rebecca I don’t want to get my hopes up thinking I am if I’m not, I’m just gonna wait a few days and test again and also see if I come on my period in a few days as well. Making me sad though. All so confusing.

@Em oh I defo wouldn’t say you’re not pregnant hun, but the line doesn’t look as it should so I’d call it an invalid result. Try a first response or a boots 6 days early. Red line tests are much easier to see and I’ve always found both those brands really reliable. Make sure you use your first morning urine though as that’s the strongest and most likely to show up. @Em best to buy the pink dye tests 🙂 they're never false if u check within timeframe and never leave coloured indents if Ur not pregnant x always use first morning urine

Also if very early and testing the first morning wee is the strongest so if it was to be positive and later in the day there negative it can be because your early on xx

@Jess I tested early in the morning the positive one and then the two negative tests where in the afternoon time x
