I have one that I meet up with for around an hour once a month or so, but that's it. We do go to free classes and play gyms or parks most week days. For the first 12 months I did feel like I needed the friendship bit and people to talk to, mostly because she didn't do that much back then and these things were as much for me as they were for her. Since she started walking a month ago it's all changed though. I've realised I don't really want to talk to other people at the classes etc because it means my focus is on other people and random conversations instead of being on my daughter. I want to focus on her and what she's doing, what she's interested in, who she's engaging with and how, follow her and engage with her. I'm not interested in anything else now and that change in my focus has made me really excited because it means I'm really getting to know her better each day. So if it helps, just remember you're not on your own - you're focusing on the most important little person and your relationship 🥰
I'm the same
I'm the same. I have a mum friend but we don't meet up as she is far and we rarely message each other. I'm at home everyday with my toddler.
Where abouts are you based? I feel the same though I have one amazing mum friend but we’re rarely free at the same time! Xx
