@Gaby This month and the months to come. It’s our 3rd month trying and I know it’s still quite early and can take up to a year but I’m just getting so down in the dumps every time my period comes. I never got implantation bleeding either my first and I didn’t have any symptoms at all. I just felt like taking a test one day and it was positive. I try and say to myself. Stop testing wait for the period but I can’t help myself. But I think it’s doing more harm than good. I only have to wait a week but it’s sooo long. But it may just do better mentally to just wait until seeing constant negatives and hoping for it. Thank you! X
We are in the same position our son back in 2021 conceived 1st time no implantation bleeding no symptoms 10dpo positive this time round we did fall 1st time again however that was a chemical pregnancy back in beginning of may and so far it's not happened again we are currently coming to the end of our fertile week will bd one more time tomorrow as it'll be our high day after peaks according to the clearblue fertility monitor but we had sex last Sunday on day 1 of highs Tuesday Wedneday Friday and Saturday which were our peaks and will again tomorrow so 6 times so hoping this is our time but this time round I'm not doing bbt or going to test unless the monitor tells me to I'm not going to symptom spot either trying less stress
Feel the exact same! Symptom spotting is the worst
I mean it’s easy advice to give but I tested 8 and 9dpo this month 🙈 But then I’ve stopped and just waiting to see if my period arrives either Monday or Tuesday. Like you say, the lack of a positive stings and puts me on a downer but I feel like it’s worse cos you keep giving yourself hope. Whereas my period arriving is a pretty definite no and makes it easier to move on. Must try stick to my own advice 🤣
I get it. I started testing 6dpo - I know that's obviously too early but we lost our last pregnancy at 8 weeks so I'm really keen to move on and be pregnant again. 9dpo today but have had so many unusual symptoms. It was so easy when we had our daughter a few years ago. I think this probably isn't going to be my month!
How long have you been trying? Or do you mean just losing hope about this month being the one? Not everyone gets implantation bleeding and only something like 10% of pregnancies test positive before 10 dpo. It might not have happened this month. Doesn’t mean it’ll never happen. Just keep doing what you’re doing and it’ll come. In the meantime try not testing until you miss a period. I know it’s hard when you’re excited and symptom spotting but I find it truly deflating to see negatives too. I think because you give yourself false hope by convincing yourself it’s still early and what not. But getting your period is fairly definitive so you know at that point you just have to start over next cycle 🤷🏻♀️
