Impatiently Waiting!

I am so excited for all of you, and I love seeing your babes as they arrive! BUT DANG… the jealousy!!! My due date was Aug 4th, but they scheduled my c-section for 7/31 so she will be here this month! I am having awful back pain and it is debilitating, I can hardly walk and everything takes me 2-3x longer than normal. I am so ready for her to be here and I am just waiting… waiting… waiting! Don’t stop sharing, just venting! Pic for humor! This was taken at the 4th of July. 100+ degrees out here in Oklahoma. 36 weeks along in the pic. It perfectly sums up how I am feeling about this pregnancy.

The jealousy is reeeeal! And I’m also impatient! But at least you know when she’ll be here ☺️ Late pregnancy in the hot hot heat, 10/10 do not recommend

You’re strong for going out in the summer at 36 wks in that heat too. Wishing you a healthy labor and recovery!🍀👶

@Nathalie I was mostly sitting with my feet in a bucket of cool water, haha! My fam was very good about taking care of me. 4th of July is a big family get together for my family and people came from all over the country for it this year… it was a good time, but that picture cracked me up!!

@Morgan ohh sounds very cooling. I’m glad you got a lot of support and I bet you’re excited to see your baby soon😊

I feel this so much! I love seeing everyone’s birth announcements and I’m also so impatiently waiting for our little one to arrive! Our due date is 7/19 and our Ob seems pretty confident I’ll go 7-10 days past the due date😭 Also THANK YOU! I feel like nobody else talks about being in pain at the end of their pregnancy and I was starting to think the level of back and pelvic pain I experience every time I stand up/walk was just a me thing. I’m sorry to hear you’re also dealing with a lot of pain but it’s also nice knowing I’m not alone in this. Hopefully it helps a little to know you’re also not alone🫶🏻

We have the same Due date! But I am being induced as well but for July 25th Except I have no mucus plug and I am 2cm dialated and she is head down. Yet the baby wont do anything she’s just chilling! Have you taken epsom salt baths or tried heating pads? I’m struggling with my back!

@Sarah Both, counter pressure and the whole works… sitting on the birthing ball and doing some minor stretches on there has been helpful

@Morgan my bounce ball has been a savior and has seen more action than the husband in the last 2 weeks! 😅
