Travelling with reusable diapers

Hello! We just started using reusable diapers and are going through the learning curve. What are your recommendations for how to store dirty diapers when out of the home? TIA :)

My diapers came with a pouch (vinyl, I think) for storage when we were out and about. Sounds disgusting, but I’d hang it on my diaper bag with a carabiner and it shockingly didn’t smell!

Are you meaning just out and about, or staying away from home? We use cloth nappies full time except holidays when I’ll use disposables. Out and about we use a waterproof wet bag to store dirties. It zips up and contains any smell. My son’s nursery do it too with no problems. So when we send him with his backpack there are enough clean nappies and wipes for the day, and as they use them they will put the dirties into the wet bag and when we get home they can go in the dirties bucket or straight in the wash depending on when the wash is happening

@Penny any bag you suggest for day to day use. I think when away, we'll use disposable diapers

@Em yeah when we go on holiday I don’t bring reusables as it’s extra space and you can’t always guarantee access to a washing machine. I use a little lovebum pod like this https://www.thenappylady.co.uk/nappy-wet-bags/little-lovebum-pod-wet-bag.html I’m sure there are similar things not UK based, most retailers should have some sort of wet bag

@Penny thank you :)

@Kiki 💋 I unfortunately don't have a bag. My diapers were given to me by my insanely generous friend. Idk if she has one or not
