Midwife appointments - second baby

I saw my midwife at 37 weeks, and my next appt is at nearly 41 weeks (almost 4 weeks apart). Is this normal? I thought once you hit 37/38, they were every other week…?

2nd pregnancy here and I’ve seen the fortnightly. Now 40+5, saw them yesterday and will see again Friday for a sweep.

Second baby too - my mine have been 2 weeks apart since 34 weeks. Had an appt at 39.5 weeks yesterday and was offered an appt a week later for a sweep though I don’t want sweeps so my next appt is at 41.5 weeks.

I was booked in for 3x weeks after 36x week appointment but in my notes it said I should have an appointment at 38x weeks so I challenged it and they said I was correct! I think it depends on your area/midwife as to whether you have one at 39x weeks too as I’ve not been lucky enough to have one of those but definitely challenge it if you don’t feel it’s right 😊 (First baby though)

2nd pregnancy for me, it was two weeks throughout third trimester until 37 weeks then it’s every week but I already have sweeps booked in at 38 and 39 weeks because I can’t go past 41 weeks. I was also dropped from high risk consultant led to low risk back to midwife only so not sure if this makes a difference
