Did you date when you were separated from your husband?

I have been separated from my husband for approximately eight months. While I do not intend to engage in dating until I feel emotionally prepared, I am curious to know if others have pursued romantic relationships during their separation or waited until their divorce was finalized.

I went on my first date last night after being separated for a few years. If you know the marriage is over for sure then why not.

Following this as I am in a similar situation.

I did. After about 2 years of being separated after he made my pregnancy a nightmare then he abandoned me and our daughter when she was only 7 weeks old…. The marriage was honestly probably over as soon as he went crazy during my pregnancy, possibly doomed even before my pregnancy but I was still forgiving and committed. Tbh if I wasn’t soooo busy surviving, working full time, moving, re-settling, and taking care of a high needs all by myself, I might’ve found some time to date a little here and there BEFORE 2 years went by lol

I started dating when I felt I was totally over him. Took me about 6 months after he left and everything he put me through. Don't feel guilty about it if you know it's over between you. Enjoy yourself.
