Colic baby?

Anyone else going through this? I feel so tired, disheartened. There’s nothing I can do. 💔

We are most bottle feeding because my baby won't breastfeed/I have low supply and formula gave her so much colic. It's super heartbreaking but Dr. said gas medicine and gripe water with almost every bottle will help until she gets to a point where her stomach can handle formula.

Are you breastfeeding or formula?

Yes, also triggered by one bottle of formula 😭 it’s so hard. Can’t wait for him to grow out of it. It’s a helpless feeling. My 7 week old is now on anti spasmodic meds and simethicone which help a little. I find bathing him helps. And lots of bicycle legs! ❤️

Breastfeeding. But it seems like her latch has gotten worse.

@Jasmine what formula do you use? A lot of brands have seed oils which can cause inflammation which can cause pains in the abdomen area. Babies with colic tend to do better with a ‘strict’ routine. Bath time, skin to skin time, feed, GOOD burp, bicycle legs and assisted toots, swaddle after feed, white noise and safe cosleeping. My 7.5 week old sometimes cries nonstop for HOURS in the evenings (her witching hour) for no known reason, but a bath and some skin to skin helps soothe her enough to take a bottle. We feed half the bottle then we swaddle and finish the bottle. Good burping, and I let her fall asleep and sleep on me for at least 30 minutes before I transition her to our bed (we cosleep). Then she tends to sleep all night!

@Aime im not the OP, but we used the Nan Comfort. Only one time! And he’s been suffering ever since. We don’t consume seed oils in our household so it’s distressing that we cannot find a formula without seed oils as a main ingredient! :( can you recommend a better one? I’d like to have some formula in the house for plan B if we need it
