I like “easy” foods that mix well meal to meal. Also prepping and freezing stuff will help out. Ex. I made chicken strips last night and used them again today for lunch with different sides. Sometimes I’ll bulk make a pasta or pancakes and freeze them for times for I don’t want to make breakfast or lunch. Good luck mom don’t over work yourself your baby will be happy either way.

So avoid the "sandwich" box. Mix it up Day 1) Turkey sandwich red pepper slices and a cutie Day 2) homemade lunchable/bento box (turkey chunks/cheese bites (chop up string chz) crackers/strawberry slices Day 3) peanut butter and apple slices with crackers/chips and some berries Day 4) yogurt parfait (mix in protein powder in the yogurt) with berries and banana slices as some PB. Day 5) chicken/turkey /beef meat and cheese roll up in a tortilla. Do a cream cheese pickle and ham slice in a tortilla... With Cucumber and tomato slices I try not to use lunch meat or PB more than 2x a week but honestly we do leftovers A LOT. It's just so much easier that way. Try not to over think of and kids barely care about having the meal redundantly. They may even eat/try more of it if they recognize it. Use the rainbow as a good visual. One thing red one thing brown (usually the protein) something green something blue or orange. The more visually attractive the more likely they will try it.

Manny schools give you a good guideline of what you can and cannot give at certain ages so check that if you don't have that on hand. (Under 3 tomatoes and hot dogs have to be quartered/not allowed nuts or popcorn etc...) Your BEST source of inspiration though is their teacher... They see 5-10 lunches cycle through the day so they would likely have seen some great ideas. I usually hit mine up when I start to get in a rut.

Why not? I send my son pbj everyday because that’s all he eats also fruit and yogurt
