I think I bled for about two weeks after but mine was lodged in my cervix. I felt so much better after getting it out. I’ve heard ppl that bled for like 9 months before it completely stopped your periods it’s definitely a waiting game.

I bled for 2 weeks and then found out I was pregnant hahaha

I got it out last month and I only bled for about 3 days starting about 2 days after getting it out but I didn’t bleed while on the mirena

I bled like a month later as if it was a regular period when I took the Mirena out

I got it out in January and had no bleeding (except a tiny bit of spotting the day off) until my periods came back in March

Putting it in I spotted a lot and for a few months. Taking it out, I spotted afterwards. It was light and last 3-5 days like my periods. I’m currently on my 2nd cycle since removing it and my periods have been medium to heavy flow, but it’s still spotting and lasts 5 days. I’m putting mine back in next month because I changed my mind about having another right now and I miss not having periods.
