Single mum by choice

Hello, I have been considering going down the ‘single mum by choice’ route for a few years now. Till this point fear has been stopping me in my tracks even though I know it is becoming a more common choice for women. I am already a single mum so that doesn’t scare me, I can cope pretty well and provide for my kids single handedly. It is more the lack of father figure that concerns me as my children have a good and close relationship with their dad. Has anyone else been down this road and had a child by themselves via sperm donor? I’d be really interested to hear your story. Thanks
