Vitamins & supplements

FTM and older so feel like my body's taken a while to recover post birth. Recently I'm so exhausted, my LO is still going through sleep regression so I'm waking up between 2 and 4 times a night for a feed do that could be impacting things. What supplements and vitamins can anyone recommend for energy boost and general wellbeing. I feel like I get up in the morning and already so tired and just want to go back to bed!

Time and rest. 😂 I coslept (bed shared) and that helped the most. Once I started doing that, I felt really rested again. The exhaustion of being a parent is also something you grow accustomed to. The recovery from birth is half of it, and the other half is just getting used to being needed. There is no real vitamin or supplement that will “fix” it for you, unless you are deficient. Vitamin Bs and D are important for feeling energized— and vitamin D is best sourced from exposure to the sun during peak daylight hours. Even 10 minutes a day is better than taking oral supplements.

I'm about to try this Spacegoods Rainbow Dust - Chocolate Flavour Mushroom Powder Drink - Start The Day with Energy & Focus - Incl Lions Mane with Chaga, Cordyceps, Maca Root & Ashwagandha - Vegan & Gluten Free - 30 serves https://amzn.eu/d/015PKZDW

Like Tatia, once I started cosleeping I felt more rested. Also started taking vitamins B12, D3 (+K2), zinc, prenatal, and encapsulated freeze dried grass fed beef organs which, traditional Chinese medicine believes that mothers are deficient in everything after giving birth for up to 3 years, especially if you breastfeed. These are the organs that I take:

For cosleeping we put a queen mattress on the floor so baby won’t have far to fall if he rolls. Sometimes I just sleep on my side with a boob out and he will find it. Look up recommended cosleeping methods, especially in regard to pillows and blankets. Also, I found napping when baby naps to be super helpful. The washing up can wait, your sanity is more important. ❤️

I take multi vitamins, b12, magnesium, probiotics, d3 and I’m about to add a few more it really does me a lot .

B vitamins, D, K2, prenatals and making sure your iron is in check, and your calcium, magnesium and potassium are all good. I try to drink an LMNT per day in addition to my vitamins.

What is a LMNT?

@Sommer it's an electrolyte "drink"... "supplement"...?

@Kyley which probiotic do you take? X

@Sid🌹 ollys right know I really like there brand but I like to check a few more out after I’m done and see which one is better .
