When we went abroad we took bags of Formula and put them inside ziplock sandwich bags just incase they split. The bags of Formula are the 1.2kg (2x600g bags) box of cow and gate. In terms of water we had a 10 month old and we used bottled water as long as the sodium content is under 20mg per litre. We found plenty in tenerife that were under 12mg so safe for them. We also boiled it in Kettle in our room.
@Nabs thank you! Didn't think of ordering, will do that, less stress ☺
@Amy thank you! Bottled water it is then. Girls you're life savers 🤗 it's stressing me out so much I was close to call it off.
I was super stressed to begin with too but honestly it's all fine. I was extra cautious and bought a brita water carafe so I could filter it all but it wasn't needed
Also for the plane I just took the pre made bottle of milk. Saved the hassle of trying to sort bottles out on the plane
When we are in turkey, we always buy bottled water for us adults, so it’s way safer to use bottled for your baby
You can take as much formula as you like, I always put our formula in our hand luggage incase of the main case ever goes missing. You’ll need to use bottled water to make up the formula, just need to check the sodium levels. x
@Hannah @Rama @Amy thank you! We will take some pre made for the airport and plane. Thank you all again, put my mind at ease a bit. I'm more stressed about formula than going on a plane with an 8 month old 😅
Yeah you can take a tin with you or even order it to collect at the airport. I packed my daughters on in our hand luggage. Security will just double check it
