Baby boy is here after 3 days of traumatic labour that resulted in a traumatic birth that I cannot even begin to process. But all worth it to look at that little face.
Currently sat on the postnatal ward with this tiny human, my partner has had to leave, I can hear women screaming in labour and babies crying and I feel like I’m on the biggest comedown of my life!

Sorry you had to go through your labour and birth that way. All your feelings of being on a comedown are completely valid. Your baby boy is beautiful but you're allowed to feel overwhelmed. I also had a traumatic birth and just got him and can honestly say, being home in your own comforts definitely makes a difference so not long now for you ❤️ message me if you would like someone to talk to xx
Congratulations! I was in the same boat last week, honestly use the midwives as much as you can. I was having help with everything including changing nappies when my partner had to go die to the canullas. Cry it out as well if you need too but you’ve done it and got such an adorable little boy out of it!
