Looking for some reassurance

Hi, I went for a growth scan yesterday at 31+2 and was told that baby has now dropped below the 10th Percentile (they said they are not worried about the rate of his growth as he’s grown as much as they’d expect but just that he is quite small). They’ve told me I will need a doppler scan in a week and then regular growth scans every 2 weeks. I’ve also been told that it’s likely I will be induced between 36/37 weeks too. Obviously I’m glad they’re monitoring it closely but feeling quite worried now too. Has anyone else had the same experience? If so, What was your outcome?

Not quite the same but I was told at 38 weeks baby was 8lb 13oz, he was born 39+3 at 6oz 12lbs, so just a comment on the accuracy of those scans!

I got sent for growth scans every 3 weeks from 25 weeks and each time they told me he was growing perfectly and the scans were only because my bump was on the small side. As with what Natalie said the accuracy aren't the greatest. I can't remember which growth scan it was but I got told if he kept gaining weight as he was doing, I'd go on to have a 9/10lb baby, which not gonna lie, put the fear of God into me. At 40+2 I gave birth to a 5lb 13oz baby boy. After this I said I wouldn't really take much notice of the weight of I was ti have another baby

Your baby has plenty of time left to “cook” so don’t worry too much. Growth scans are good and they’ll keep an eye on things, I’m sure you’ll see some change over the coming weeks. My baby was born on the 9th centile but he was absolutely fine. It’s good they’ve picked it up now and can look after you. You may just have a petite little bubba which means they’ll stay smaller for longer as they’ve got more to gain. Also means you get to see your baby every two weeks which is always a positive 🥰 Try not to worry, you’re in safe hands

And my baby measured at 6lbs 9oz the week before he came. He was 6lbs 7oz when he was born so it was pretty spot on ❤️
