Many factors can cause a decrease- biggest is actually human error in measuring. It’s a non-specific test used to decide whether the size of baby should be looked into further! I would just go based on what the scans are saying and not worry about final height
Agree with the others. Wouldn’t worry at all for now. Mine stopped growing between two appointments and it was nothing (I think it was cause he moved further into my pelvis). Have my 1 month old now with me, all happy and healthy Obviously engage with the extra appointments but hopefully it will all be fine.
Remember the tape measure is measuring your bump and not the baby So for me I’m tall and will carry differently to someone smaller , also position of the baby may make the bump look smaller
What did they tell you at the scan? The fundal height decrease is kind of irrelevant because they obviously saw something at the scan that makes them believe you need extra monitoring. It is most likely to be how well the placenta is functioning

Sometimes it can literally just be the position of the baby and doesn’t mean much. Other times it could mean that baby’s growth has slowed due to placenta problems etc. Did they not give you any explanation at the scan for it and let you know why you have to go so frequently?
