This happened in my first pregnancy. At my last midwife appointment my measurement had dropped off the line that it had been following for my entire pregnancy. I went for a scan and they confirmed I had been losing my waters/liqor and I didn’t know! Probably because I was sick all the time and it wasn’t unusual for me to pee myself when I was sick. They booked me in for a sweep then after my waters broke I was induced

Sweep ?

@Mim booked for you for sweep i didnt get, whats that (

It’s a cervical sweep (also known as membrane sweep) where a doctor or midwife try and separate the cervix from the amniotic sack to help induce labour. Sometimes it works sometimes it doesn’t. I’m not saying this will be offered to you because I don’t know the full details as to why your fundal measurement has decreased but it’s what happened in my situation. They needed to induce labour for me because they didn’t know how long I had been losing waters for so I was at risk of infection.

Fundal height is really inaccurate, it can change because of baby position, fluids, what you last ate, bloating, if you have gas. I wouldn’t stress at this point at all, fetal medicine teams are amazing! They’ll give you a scan and likely tell you everything is perfect xxx
