Flying with a toddler

Hi everyone. We’re flying with Jet2 on holiday in 2 weeks with our little girl & I’m wondering if anyone knows if we can bring food, snacks on the flight & through security? eg. fruit, yogurts, crackers etc? If not which snacks, food, did you take for flying?

Gatwick and foreign airports I have been too allowed unlimited milk and food for under 2s. We even took through pre heated pasta in a hot container and open milk in a sippy cup. Didn’t have any issues - they just swabbed/ scanned the bag with all the food in. There’s a separate queue for families with buggies/ children at Gatwick - don’t know if that’s the same at all airports. Was super easy!

You should be able to carry anything for babies and toddlers. Obviously bring a reasonable amount and not a gallon of milk or a huge box of snacks. But bring enough for what you’ll need. If it’s liquid it doesn’t matter the amount but trying to have all babies liquids in a certain pouch or bag so they know. Pull out those liquids when you go through security so it doesn’t take more time for them to search it or stop you

Where are you flying from? Manchester are trialing not having to separate liquids now so if you’re flying from there you can just have everything in your bag. You can take as much through as you want. I had her water bottle, fruit and yoghurt pouches, heated pasta as above and some other dry snacks x they swabbed my bag and scanned her water bottle x
