Early tests

I have the early tests which can detect up to 5 days before your missed period which is me today.. its negative and I had high hopes I could of been pregnant due to symptoms.. did anyone else get negatives with the early tests which turned out to be positives a few days later?!

You could have ovulated a little later than you think, I wouldn't worry about it so much, you could still be pregnant there might not be enough hcg in your system x

So with any tests, they won’t pick up HCG until after you’ve implanted. Implantation can take place 5-12 dpo and there’s no way of knowing when you will. So regardless of these tests saying 5 days earlier, that would only be with the right set of circumstances in place. If you’ve not been ovulation tracking and know exactly when you ovulated, I’d wait until your period is due and test around then as you could end up getting false negatives even if you are pregnant x

@Samantha thank you. I got a smiley face on the pink clearblue ovulation tests on Friday 19th but never got a positive on the little strip tests so I thought it would be time to test but maybe I'm too early! Xx

Yeah possibly just too early 🤞🏼 hopefully you’ll get a positive test in a few days xx
