not sure what to do
so i got my nexplanon (birth control implant) in exactly 3 weeks ago , a couple days before that i had unprotected sex (using pull out method). my period was supposed to start 2 days ago . i know the implant can cause irregular periods but should i take a test anyway ?

I got the implant in May and I still have not had a period. But if you think you might be pregnant take a test.
Always test if you even suspect, but when I had nexplanon my periods were super irregular. Some cycles would be 4 weeks, some 6, some 12.

Always test! Like you said it could just be the implant but no harm in testing x
