Posterior tongue tie?

My 4 week old baby has an obvious lip tie and I've also noticed his tongue is heart shaped when he cries. He doesn't seem able to stick his tongue out of his mouth. I can't see a tongue tie but thinking maybe it's posterior and hard to see. He can't open his mouth wide either. Who is best to contact gp, hv, or private lactation consultant?

Lip tie shouldn’t affect them but if you are querying tongue tie best to see a health visitor. If he is feeding ok and gaining weight then maybe there isn’t cause for concern.

I wentt to a latch class and they told me about it. Any of the mentioned people w help but if ur trying to just get it diagnosed and confirm ur suspiscions then lactation class is fine
