Thank you lex. Yes exactly we considered that it would help my baby too to get into a schedule. However given the child’s age, I am not happy about the strict adherence that no matter what my child will only sleep at 12🙈 she could be feeling sick, teething & in discomfort and might want to nap sooner. So being a bit flexible is what I am hoping
@M’s Mommy oh no no. If a child is sick or needs the extra sleep, we absolutely give it! There’s a little girl 3 days older than my son and she slept a lot the other day because she’s a little sick. And even sometimes my son won’t sleep, but I typically grab him in those situations so he’s not being too loud for the other babies or he’ll need extra time to nap in the afternoon or something. There’s exceptions to the rules. And we absolutely play it by ear with each child. But we try to be as consistent as possible, if the situation allows.
At my daycare they do baby's schedule... once they are close to 1 year old they start migrating them all to daycare schedule so.. kids over a year old take naps at the same time.
I work at the daycare my son goes to. I stick to daycare schedule because it’s nearly impossible for one teacher to handle 4+ babies all having different sleep schedules. 😅 Nap is before 930, again at 12-2 and then sometimes afternoon naps if needed. My son typically only naps during the midday nap though. But he hits a point at like 1030 where he’s cranky.
