Bathing baby

Hi all, I’m getting some supplies together for little one’s arrival. Of course initially will just be doing water baths for baby. So many products out on the market now so I’m a bit confused as to what I can use for baby. I thought Aveeno was would be a good brand to use, but I’m curious to know what products have been a hit? Any recommendations would be highly appreciated. Thank you!!!

Child farm too

My Expert Midwife Baby Wash is what I plan to use

I love my little Coco from boots, smells so good.

Good old Johnsons for me

We used Aveeno with our first and still do 3 years later! Going to use the same with this baby😊

I used Child’s farm for the first couple of months and then went on to Nalas baby which we still use till this day x

I used Johnson with my first. Remember you can only top and tail wash baby till cord falls off. Usually around day 10

I generally liked the asda own brand with my last baby, but that was a while ago 🤣 I've got some child's farm stuff for this time around, anything other than Johnsons for us though because my eldest ended up in hospital with a reaction to that when he was little

I used the Yuka app on all the stuff in Boots and their own brand kids shampoo/ body wash came out with the best rating

We just used water for first ages with my daughter, then we used Child's Farm stuff. She had pretty bad eczema at about 14 months so we switched to plant based milk and also use a prescription wash in the bath now.

How many weeks did you all feel comfortable introducing products? General consensus is after 4-6 weeks right? And what about oil for baby massages?

Weleda is amongst the best when you look at the ingredients X But midwives say don't use any product until baby is 2months. I am not sure what will I do, but got weleda, natura siberica and handmade products from my cousin.

I use Asda / aldis own x
