I also read that at three months, it is the time to start introducing them to more toys to help with their development. So maybe try incorporating some age-appropriate toys that he can play with even without assistance. Does anyone have some recommendations for some good age appropriate toys?
Reading, tummy time, lots of chatting and singing. Also just narrating what I’m doing when I need to get things done. He likes a couple of small toys now, a rattle and baby paper. Oh and that kick-piano playmat thing has been a big hit. I keep reminding myself to keep it simple and interact with him as much as possible:)
@Alex oh man same here. My baby loves her piano play mat! I want to try one of those water mats you fill up so she hopefully despises tummy time a little less. I think she'd like that. She also likes holding those little blanket things with the cloth tabs on the sides and chewing on it. She likes the 8 shaped rattle. and being talked to, she loves that the most. Walks are good when it isn't so hot! She loves looking up at trees and clouds.
And her baby pool or bath time. She loves to kick her feet in the water and watch/feel the "waterfall" trickling down on to her feet and hands.
