I've had mine for a few weeks already due to PGP and honestly, it's a lifesaver. I sit on it in the evening after work and it's great for relieving my back and pelvic pain. I got the babygo one off amazon too. The little booklet with exercises is helpful. Definitely worth it!
One MILLLION % worth it!!! We bought a USA Pro gym ball for £10 from sports direct and it has transformed how I’ve felt the past 3 weeks. I feel less sore and achey at 31 weeks than I did at 25 weeks (pre ball) dont be conned into think you need a specialist birthing ball, any bouncy exercise ball will do the trick xx
Yes, you get really uncomfortable from about 35 weeks +. I didn’t use mine at all in labour though as my daughter was so low down and it was super uncomfortable but great for pre labour, especially the evenings x
Definitely, you can get a generic one from Amazon rather than specific ‘birthing balls’ as it’s cheaper and 100% the same
I’ve had one since pre-pregnancy as I use it for yoga, and have done prenatal yoga throughout both my pregnancies
I used mine 35 onwards with my first x
100% mines only just arrived today and it gave me instant relief!!
The evening my birthing ball was inflated (last weekend) was one of the best evenings to date 😂 oh the relief is something else for me! I’m able to get up from the birthing ball with such ease compared to sitting down normally. I’ve been struggling with sciatica, lower back pain and pelvic girdle. Sitting on the ball is the main relief I get. Highly highly recommend. I didn’t do too much research on which one to get to be honest, I just trusted Amazon and the most bought one. I went with the babygo birthing ball. It comes with a little booklet of exercises etc.
