Me and was actually induced yesterday.. I was 36 weeks when I had 30 cm of fluid within 3 weeks I gained more fluid and was at 49 cm. Induced at 39 wks + 1 day I gained so much she was concerned (I do have a complicated/high risk pregnancy). Welp because of the extra fluid my induction didn't go as planned and I ended up having an emergency c section. They should continue with nst/ultrasound to track fluid amount. You should ask about risks associated with high amount of fluid and options to explore.
I was told I had too much amniotic fluid when I was about 35 weeks and have been doing stress test at every appt since then. My doctor has not talked about inducing me due to it but I would definitely ask if you are concern.
I've had exteeamly high fluid for all three of my pregnancies. Considering you're only 4 cm above "normal" and how often the fluid fluctuates, it's nothing to worry about. With my first, my fluid was measuring around 50-60cm, they weighed the pads after my water broke and I was carrying close to 7 pounds of fluid.
I was just told the same thing. I’ll be 38 weeks on Sunday. Doctor told me not at a dangerously high number but the possibility of it increasing is high. Doctor told me the safest option is to not go past 39 weeks. So we’re scheduling an induction. I was scared too but it’s okay. Definitely recommend staying off google cuz all that does is scare and stress u out more. If u are super stressed and concerned talk to ur doctor about scheduling an induction so the fluid doesn’t have a chance to build up more. If u do want to try and wait until baby comes on their own terms talk to ur doctor about possibly keeping an eye on ur fluid every week. Take it one step at a time. U are at a healthy and safe part in your pregnancy for baby to be born.
