A bit unsure of how much to give my baby so first question is how much, how often?
Second, if my baby drinks a small amount, can I put in fridge and save till later? How long can I save?
Hi! Cannot save formula by any means at all. Most formulas only good for up to two hours. It’s not like breast milk so it expires quickly, we don’t really even ever go more than an hour and a half, to be honest. I would read the label. Depending on what you’re using, we use Organic Kendamil we buy from Formulaland. Not sure because every baby is different but I will share that my baby drinks 5 1/2 to 6 ounces each feeding (sometimes leaves just about a teaspoon behind).
Times are: first bottle 7 AM,
he eats some breakfast btwn 9:30-10am, then 2ndmilk & falls asleep,
1pm eats a whole fat plain Greek yogurt everyday (no milk until 2:30-3pm)
Dinner (after his solids) at 5:30-6
7-7:30 lays down for bed with one
10pm we watch him sleep drink
1am we watch him sleep drink
7am start over
_____
When he gets old enough, we will cut the 1 AM and as he eats more solids, we start to shift everything in general.
My daughter is 2, drinks 8oz at 7am, 12pm &7pm (we don’t want her on reg milk yet)
