Formula feeding since birth

I’m looking for some tips for formula feeding since birth. I know this is a sensitive topic for some people, but I had a terrible experience and almost died from sepsis caused by mastitis due to the negligence of my GP. So, I'm thinking of formula feeding my second because of the trauma, and I don't want my body to be a factor in taking care of my two children. If anyone has any tips, they are very welcome; thank you!

Thank you! Did they give you some medicine to dry the milk in the hospital? My friends have got some, but not in England. I don't know if that's a thing here.

Thank you! Did you take those small premade bottles for the hospital time? x

We took two boxes of kendamil ready made to be safe, we ended up staying 3 nights so needed my MIL to get more🤦🏻‍♀️😅 But if you do run out I believe they do have some to give you, just double check with midwife maybe. They will also store the left over milk in a fridge for you so it doesn’t get wasted as bubs will be drinking super little amounts x

Also I’m the same as Jessica. I formula fed just purely out of choice x

Thank you!! I’m actually considering kendamil, it’s nice to know they make ready made 🙌🏻🙌🏻 x

My boy was on kendamil from birth till a year old! We had absolutely no problems and if you’re near an Iceland foodwarehouse they do them much cheaper than else where! If not kendamil website to a subscribe option so it automatically gets delivered every month! The ready mades come with teats and if you save some milk for later the hospital provide clean sterilised teats you can just screw onto the bottle xx

Oh brilliant! Thank you so much for your tips!! xx
