Positive pregnancy test after D&C
Hello ladies, I sadly had a d & c exactly 2 weeks ago… I was told to do a pregnancy test after 2 weeks and it came back a very strong positive still 😞 is this something to be worried about? Or still needs time for hormones to stop? I have stopped bleeding a few days ago. Could the positive lines be due to ovulation? Or would positive ovulation not show up a pregnancy test?

After my d & c they told me to test after 3 weeks x
I did another test after 3 weeks…. Still very strong positive :( but the hospital won’t see me (scan or bloods or anything) unless I test positive again in another 2 weeks! All because I had sex 3 days ago, god damn it lol. Just want this to all be over now:( How long did it take you ladies to test negative? X
I tested again after x3 weeks and it was negative. I didn’t have sex until 5 weeks after x

Nothing to worry about. You can test positive for upto 4 weeks. You probably still have high HCG in your blood. Just keep testing for another week or so if it’s still positive contact your healthcare provider they will do scans to check. Pregnancy tests do not test for ovulation, however, ovulation tests can be positive for pregnancy. Strange how things work.
