I'd also say not pregnant, and yes there is "pre ejaculate" that happens at any time during sex and can contain sperm. Similar to feminine wetness, men do create a similar natural lube from the tip. If you are nervous get a red test instead of a blue one. They sell them everywhere, but even dollar store tests are usually red line tests. Red tests detect earlier than blue. You can also get a giant bag on Amazon for like 15 dollars to have em on hand! Pregmate is the brand I use from there and it has never been wrong!
