My surgeon told me to avoid them as they can actually damage/make your core lazier. You want those muscles working and waking up. I didn’t have one and don’t plan for baby 2, didn’t feel the need really x
@Sarah thank you, makes sense! I was told at my six week check to avoid any exercise other than walking but I really want to start getting back in shape!
@Lucy yeah nothing but walking for the first 6 weeks, that’s all that’s needed to start your muscles back up. The wraps though can hinder that basic starter recovery though meaning that when you do start proper exercise it’s harder to engage your core again. At 2 months pp though as you are fully healed, they’d probably act more like a waist trainer x
