Midwife appointments

Hello, I’m 30 weeks and don’t have any more midwife appointments booked. My midwife forgot to book me in at my last appointment and I haven’t been able to get hold of her despite texting since the 11th August. I’m a second-time mum so I don’t know whether my next appointment would still be 31 weeks? Does anyone know any other way to get hold of my midwife? I also need my MatB1 form for work but can’t get hold of her to get it!!

@Hannah thank you! I called the self referral team yesterday morning and they said they’d send her an email asking her to get in touch but I’ve still not heard anything! Bsdgernotes is just the usual hospital numbers & my midwife. Maybe I’ll try the postnatal community coordinators on Monday!

I would suggest that you contact the hospital that you are booked at and explain to them that you haven’t received any information about your next appointment. They should be able to booked a next appointment for you or to even contact the your midwife on your behalf.

@Louana I Ah perfect - I’d wait and see if you are contacted by Tuesday (the midwife may be off with leave etc), if no luck, try the community coordinators.

You can give the community coordinators a call, you’re next appt will be around 34 weeks
