I have been diagnosed with GD but all I was told was collect a machine and follow the advice plus a Skype meeting in a few days, do I start testing now how often do you test ? The app is soo confusing

I was diagnosed for the second time on Wednesday, I have to text before every meal and then two hours after eating (total of 6times a day) what machine did they give you?
@Bethany Jayne I've been given agamatrix, I've followed what the booklet says one hour after amd hour before breakfast, I have had no appointment made apart from.skype with a group of people on Tuesday which I'm really not looking forward to I don't like group conversations on Skype 😂
@Victoria thank you it's the changes in diet which is difficult and meal.time as I work 6 days a week 8-6 don't get home until 7pm usually have dinner around 9pm 🙈 xxxx

Hi lovely. I was diagnosed 4 weeks ago so am into the swing of things now. I test 4 times a day - before breakfast, after breakfast, after lunch and after dinner (each 1 hour after eating). I also had an appointment with a diabetes midwife first before starting testing so I'm sure it's fine to wait until your skype meeting and hopefully they can explain things more fully to you then. Hope you're doing ok x
