Opinions on this car seat?

For a baby girl that’s in the 75th height centile and weighs 8kg would you recommend this car seat?

It’s a great seat, not for your little girl though. Shes on high centiles so it won’t last her to a safe HBB age xx

@Kiera oh ok thank you. is there one you’d recommend for a similar pricing that’s also a 360 base?

Nothing that is a 360 base as they have lower weight limits, unless it’s a must for you and you wouldn’t mind paying for another seat around age 3.5/4 years old then the picture you posted is a great seat. Without the 360, then the britax max safe pro or britax safe way M are both under £200 at the minute I believe. They don’t spin and require tethers and seat belt rather than isofix, but would both last longer enough to get a HBB around age 5 ideally xx How old is she?

Okay, the 360 would help a lot. For the car we have it’s quite tight getting her in and out and it’s quite low. That’s all really helpful thank you. She is nearly 9 months old

I’d head to your closest decent retailer as spin seats and notoriously bigger due to the isofix. I’d try them in your car personally. Is it 3 door?xx

No it is a 5 door. It’s a Vauxhall Astra, I just find the space between the car door opening and getting her in her current car seat so tight and awkward to get her into so would just prefer the 360 base for this reason. X

Yeah head to your closest retailer to try them out, just stick with the britax, be safe, axkid brands xx

Ok great thank you!! X

I bought my baby the Joie 360 ispin, it doesn't bother me if we only get 3 years out of it (she's tall) it's still a worthwhile investment in my opinion! Happy to just buy another seat when needed

Just on an anecdotal note, getting kids in and out of spin seats in cars that are lower down is harder in my experience. Because of the spin bass they are bigger seats that sit higher up, so you have to post the kids under the roof and then up to get them into the seat. They're usually too high for the kids to climb in themselves too. But the ERF seats don't have this issue, the kids can climb in much earlier as they're lower to the seat, if they cant then you've got a much bigger window to post them through and not worth about banging their head.
