Been there with my eldest We kept them short instead of big on the waist especially as they where just pyjamas 😫🤣

@Amy I wpuld keep him in shorts but my little one gets really cold so would rather trousers

Maybe try mix and match for a while. 3-4 trousers? If you still have any. Xx

I’ve had to sew tucks into the waistbands of all his pyjama trousers- he needs the length of 3-4, but they’re enormous round his middle 🥲

@Ruth I would but they are fair to short and we get to cold in them as its getting into the colder weather

M&S do skinny fitting ones- they do come up slightly smaller. My daughter is in 2-3/3-4 and has no waist, and find them a bit better x

Gap are good you can order online! We also have the same issue with maxi, I usually just see tucks into the back and then let them out!

I second M&S - we used to get them for my daughter before she filled out a bit and they were great.

Thirding M&S slim fit, the normal ones I hand sewed the waistband smaller because had the have the train ones

For my eldest I have always stitched the waistband and then just cut the stitches when its time to pass the clothes down.
