Genuine date question

I know they work your date out from your last period But I know the date we had the sex haha ... so is it more likely I'm actually only from that date? My early scan wasn't as developed as it should be for how far along I am going by my last period. But if I take it from conception then it might just be too early? Thoughts or am I cluching at straws. Last period 17 July Sex 28th July Missed period 17 August ( ish ) Tested positive 26 August ( 3 + weeks ) Should be 8 weeks going by the last period theory But if from sex then only 6 weeks Scan showed yolk sac and a small pregnancy but that wasn't as developed as it should be for 8 weeks and no heartbeat Going for another scan on Monday Still testing positive dark lines showing quickly Still having Symptoms include : Cramp Tired Emotional Wind Craving junk food over dinners Thoughts?

With my first I ovulated two weeks later than would be normal so by the time we went for our first scan the dates were way behind, went again a few weeks later and every scan from then on matched the +2 week dates. It’s possible your dates are a bit behind too, see what the scan on Monday brings ☺️

@Laura See all this confuses me cause we weren't really trying for a baby I'd been on the pill for 10 years and only came off in February my periods where still kinda all over the place so I've no ides when I ovulate and how long my cycle was 😭

Yeah that’s what happened with my first, we weren’t trying so I had no idea and went off my last period but my cycles were all over the place at that time! This time I am absolutely sure on the dates 😂 Hopefully your scan on Monday brings good news

@Laura it's so weird also because I didn't know I was pregnant I didn't really have symptoms I only tested because my period hadn't came but I didn't even think of it as late cause it had been so messed up then I took the cold right when I tested pregnant. Then the cold went away and I'm feeling great again. So I don't even know what was pregnancy symptoms and what was just cold symptoms so I honestly just feel so confused by it all. I'm preparing for bad news but hoping for good

Babies grow at a consistent rate so the scan measurements are the most accurate to go from apparently xx
