Wellbutrin and pregnant
Hello!!! 5 weeks pregnant and I’ve been taking Wellbutrin for a few years now for depression. Over the past year however due to circumstances I was just ordering them online and I haven’t seen a doctor in a while. Now that i have insurance again, I can’t get into the obgyn until 8 weeks and they won’t answer whether or not it's or not safe since I technically am not a patient yet. I have called my lld doctor but I still haven't gotten a call back. I know I need to actually speak to a doctor but I just can't imagine waiting until I am almost through the whole first trimester to get an answer. google has mixed answers of course. I guess I just am curious if anyone has any experience similar to mine. Apologies if this is just a giant run-on sentence that doesn't make sense.

Totally makes sense to have questions! I stopped taking it at about 4 weeks and when i saw my ob, he said it was not safe so i made the right call. He suggested other things. Its also not safe for breastfeeding (not enough data).

Hi! I was on Wellbutrin for years and had to stop at 4 weeks pregnant, saw the doctor and he said it wasn’t safe and can cause heart defects to the baby.
I was on vraylar and they had me stop at 4 weeks until I could meet with a psychiatrist to get alternatives if possible.
