@Lindsey, thank you! i’m the same, i suffered with horrendous pcos and was overweight a lot of my life, i managed to lose a lot of weight when i got down to 12 but since it’s all piled back on. my partner and i weren’t expecting to fall pregnant as we both know that my fertility is affected by my weight so finding out we’re pregnant again has been a massive shock as we didn’t think it was going to happen! i really like your way of thinking that if my body wasn’t okay it wouldn’t of happened, thank you❤️i do eat relatively healthy i think it’s just more exercise i need to be doing🥲xx
Would recommend the Heavyweight Midwife on Instagram and Facebook. A really lovely community of people and support from other people who are the same as you. I've been a silent member on the fb page but have found other people's posts incredibly helpful.
Congratulations mumma! Im currently pregnant with my first and I have a very high bmi. I'm currently 34 weeks pregnant. Feel free to message me with any questions you may have. Everything has been positive for me so far! And i hope you have a positive journey too🤞
Congratulations mama! When i found out i was pregnant(id been on holiday and just lost my job which was very physical) i weighed 17 stone and now 18months later baby is about to be 1 in november and im now 19stone.... Losing weight and watching weight is now no longer as easy as it once was because hormones cause a huuuuuge issue and irregular eating/sleeping is the worst thing to!! I feel your pain and if you need to chat im all ears 🩵
Wow well first of all congratulations to you on the great news x I was over weight my entire life due to having pcos and other health issues I did manage to loose 3 stone but it took me over a year for us to have private ivf, I was 15stone 8lbs when I had the ivf and when I had my lb 4 weeks early as I got preaclampsia a year on I'm nearly 18stone!! So I wouldn't be soo worried your get the gobs worths saying oh it's so dangerous for you both but if your body wasn't ok you wouldn't have fallen pregnant that's the way I'd look at it so be happy!!! Advice would be eat sensibly throughout as to not gain much extra weight so it's not so difficult to loose postpartum xx
